Horserail Fence

Gallstown Road, Dunleer, Co. Louth

Works commenced on the 18th of July 2014

Louth County Council wished to widen the road for safety reason as there was poor visibility driving around existing bend on road.

After this it was agreed that the landowner would have a new aesthetically pleasing fence (Horserail Fence) installed along the boundary of his land with some stone piers set along the fence line.

As part of a contingency programme it was required that another fence, timber post & rail with wire mesh, was to be installed at another location along the Gallstown road regarding another landowner.

This was carried out during the same time the stone piers were being constructed for the Horserail fence.
